From the age of four, she devoted herself to ballroom dancing, quickly rising through the ranks of Russia’s competitive dance scene. By eight, she had already made her mark on the national stage, and soon after, she was competing across Europe.
Her journey was not without challenges, but Ekaterina’s resilience never wavered. When she lost her long-time dance partner as a teenager, she faced one of the toughest moments of her career. But instead of giving up, she embraced a new opportunity—partnering with a talented Australian dancer. At just 17, she moved across the world, speaking no English but armed with sheer determination.
That decision propelled her onto the international stage, where she became an Asian Pacific Champion, a national champion of Australia, and ranked among the world’s best dancers. Competing across continents while earning a degree in Moscow, Ekaterina proved that success comes not just from talent but from an unstoppable drive to achieve greatness.
Marcello: The Maverick from Tuscany
Marcello’s path was anything but ordinary. Born in Rio de Janeiro to an Italian father and a Brazilian mother, he was raised in Tuscany, Italy. A natural rebel with boundless energy, he was always searching for something that truly captivated him. That “something” turned out to be ballroom dancing.
Initially resistant to following in his father’s footsteps, Marcello’s competitive nature led him to take up the challenge. One lesson was all it took—he was hooked. Marcello’s talent, combined with his fearless ambition, led him to Milan, then to the Netherlands, where he became a three-time Dutch champion. His dynamic, charismatic approach to dance set him apart, and his journey across Europe introduced him to some of the most elite dancers and coaches in the world.
