We are proud to introduce ourselves as the owners of Nencini Dance Studio, Marcello Nencini and Ekaterina Maksimova. As highly accomplished ballroom dancers, we have trained with the world's most renowned dance teachers and coaches, and have successfully competed in numerous prestigious Dancesport Championships worldwide. With our experience, we know what it takes to excel in this art form, and we are excited to offer the same opportunity to you through our dance studio.
In 2019, we left our successful dance careers in Europe to pursue our passion for ballroom dancing in the United States. We were determined to share our love for ballroom dancing and our unique talents with the dance community in this country. Our dream finally came true in 2021, with the opening of our very own dance studio in Orlando, Florida.

Marcello is known for his impeccable dance technique and fun approach to teaching. His joy for dance is contagious and his students appreciate his sense of humor and his ability to simplify complex concepts.
Marcello is a native of Pisa, Italy and speaks 5 languages: Italian, English, Portuguese, Spanish and Dutch. He became interested in ballroom dancing as a teen and it quickly became a passion which led to an impressive professional career.
He participated in his first dance competition in 1997 and began attending private dance lessons to hone his craft. Ten years later, he joined the world-famous “Team Diablo” through the Dance Sport Academy (DSA). This is an inspiring place to train with access to the best dance coaches, world dance champions, personal trainers, and sport psychologists.
Most recently, he obtained his World Dance Council International Judging License in the Ballroom Standard and Latin American dance styles. This allows him to judge organized dance competitions throughout the world.

Ekaterina is the epitome of graceful elegance and poise. Not only is she a highly skilled, creative and beautiful dancer, but her generous and kind spirit endear her to all those who have the privilege of learning from her.
She was born in St. Petersburg, Russia and began dancing at the tender age of five. She has trained with the best dance instructors and coaches in the business to perfect her Ballroom and Latin American technique and has competed extensively in many world dance championships.
In addition to dance, Ekaterina studied Creative Arts in Moscow (focusing on singing and guitar) and has a university degree in Hospitality Management. She also attended Moscow’s Stretching & Wellness Academy where she obtained the qualification of instructor and has a Teacher’s Diploma from the CSEN National Educational Sports Center.
Ekaterina is an international licensed judge with the World Dance Council in the Ballroom Standard and Latin American dance styles. This allows her to judge organized dance competitions throughout the world. She is fluent in English, Russian and Italian.

With an impressive track record of over 18 years of dance teaching experience, Greg’s dedication to his craft knows no bounds. His students appreciate his fun and lighthearted approach to teaching and the way he can easily explain difficult to understand dance concepts in a memorable way.
Greg embarked on his dance journey in Washington DC at the young age of 16, immersing himself in the world of Salsa and wedding dances, honing his skills as a talented instructor and choreographer. In 2005, Greg’s path led him to venture into the captivating realm of ballroom dance. Working in prestigious schools, he pursued his dream of teaching and competing professionally in ballroom dance, setting his sights on excellence and creating unforgettable experiences for his students.
Driven by an unyielding passion for dance, Greg’s quest for growth led him to Florida, where he continued to share his expertise, leaving his mark as a renowned dance choreographer in both the dazzling world of Broadway theater and the enchanting ambiance of ballroom.
As a much-loved member of our dance studio, Greg brings not only his exceptional talent but also his warm and encouraging teaching style. Week after week, he guides his students towards success, achieving top placements and winning prestigious dance competitions, all while fostering an atmosphere of joy and camaraderie.

Elisa’s journey in the world of ballroom dance spans over two decades, marked by a blend of passion, dedication, and exceptional skill. Beginning her dance odyssey in Italy at the age of 11, Elisa quickly blossomed into a prodigious talent. By 17, she was not just mastering dance but also imparting her knowledge as a teacher. Her dedication saw her establishing her own dance school in Italy at 19, where she spent 15 years nurturing the next generation of dancers and honing her craft to perfection.
Internationally, Elisa shone brightly as a competitor for over 20 years, showcasing her remarkable skills as a member of the Portugal national team. Her prowess on the dance floor is matched by her esteemed role as a judge in Italian competitions, where her keen eye for excellence and unwavering commitment to the art form have guided countless aspiring dancers.
Known for her warm and engaging teaching style, Elisa has a unique ability to demystify complex dance techniques, making them accessible to dancers at every level. As a mentor, competitor, judge, and advocate, she has made an indelible impact on the dance community, leaving a legacy of grace, wisdom, and an enduring love for dance.

We are proud to provide a premier ballroom dance experience to Orlando’s vibrant and diverse community. We do this by maintaining an unwavering commitment to excellence in every aspect of our dance studio. From our carefully selected, highly trained dance instructors to the top-quality floating, cushioned maple dance floor, beautiful chandeliers and spacious well-appointed space. Every detail has been designed to offer the highest standard of ballroom dance instruction.
The studio is conveniently located near Sea World, I-4, SR 528, and International Drive. There are many dining and entertainment options nearby and ample free parking.
